چکیده
ABSTRACT The use of polymeric residues in the civil construction has been target many studies aiming to reduce volume post-consumer plastics environment. This work focuses on viability polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polypropylene (PP) as partial replacement sand concrete. PET PP flakes from packings were used light aggregate partially replace, individually, 10% sand. effect adding these polymers was investigated terms physical, mechanical, durability morphological properties Physical measured water absorption, voids content specific mass. Mechanical compressive strength elasticity modulus. Durability capillarity absorption electrical indication concrete resist chloride ion penetration. MEV EDS carry out analysis. DSC curves carried evaluate thermal flakes. Contact anlge test also performed. addition reduced by 20%, whilst reduction modulus 16% for samples, almost insignificant samples. results show that contributed increase resistance samples penetration 15% 57%, respectively; however, there an absorption. In it is possible observe a lower interfacial adhesion between cementions paste comparison PET.

15 صفحه اولApplying Solid Residues of Copper Slag in Kerman Sarcheshme of Iran as Sand Replacement for Self-Compacting Concrete
The reuse of mineral wastes is one of the most suitable solid wastes solutions. Throughout the world, the large of the granular aggregates used in constructions exploit natural mountain resources and rivers. Using mineral waste as a part of concrete, it can be helped to create a green environment and also contribute to sustainable development. Since the copper production process in the Sarchesh...

15 صفحه اولCockle Shell: a Potential Partial Coarse Aggregate Replacement in Concrete
Effort towards preserving natural coarse aggregate for future generation and reducing cockle shell waste originating from the fisheries industry has initiated studies on possibility of integrating this waste in concrete production. This paper presents the result on the workability and compressive strength of concrete containing various percentage of cockle shell content as partial coarse aggreg...
